Fortuna Entertainment Group, sports clubs and competitions make natural partners. Football, of course, is the most popular and most followed sport on the global level by some margin and that is why the company has, over the long term, been realising its activities as a sponsor in the football environment.
In the Czech Republic, Fortuna has linked its brand with the broadest fan base by positioning itself as the general partner of SK Slavia Prague and as a partner of Bohemians Praha 1905, another football club rich in tradition. Fortuna also collaborates with the Football Association of the Czech Republic and supports dozens of regional clubs that play in the lower leagues. In 2014, the company also entered the world of ice hockey when it became a partner of HK Mountfield Hradec Králové. The home stadium of the team has been renamed to Fortuna Aréna.
In Slovakia, Fortuna held the position of platinum partner to the Slovak national football team for five years. With the start of the 2014/15 season, the company became the sponsor of the top football league in Slovakia, now renamed to Fortuna Liga.
Fortuna’s sponsoring activities in Poland are also mainly focused on football. Since the spring of 2014, the company has been the general partner of KP Legia Warszawa, the biggest and most successful Polish football club. Fortuna is also a partner to Cracovia Krakow, while Poland is another country where Fortuna has stepped forward with a project that supports lower-tier football divisions.
